Within a few streets of where I live, there are at least 5 people with a learning disability who are treated the same as other residents of the area. They go about their everyday lives and I have never witnessed them being abused, either physically or verbally. I do think society is generally more accepting of all disabilities now. Obviously, in some areas of towns and cities, this is still, sadly, not the case. What does anyone else think? Do you have problems where you live? If so, how do you deal with it?
